Registration:

During these exercises there is a possibility to pass the compulsory P.E. classes. For students interested in this form of course credit, registration takes place in SWFiS, students who are not obliged to attend obligatory PE classes register with the teacher.

Additional information:

Classes designed for students with special needs and especially for students in mental crisis and on the autism spectrum.
Changing rooms are available 15 minutes before classes.


Requirements:

Medical indications for this type of activity or a written request from the student to allow participation in this form of exercise.
Lack of medical contraindications to participate in the classes.


Description:

The classes are held outdoors in a nearby park on the Oder River.
Exercising with Nordic Walking poles will activate all the muscles of the body, making them both stronger and more flexible. Meanwhile, contact with nature will provide tranquility, oxygenation and a surge of positive energy.
The plan for each workout will include exercises to warm up and prepare muscles for work, learning and perfecting proper Nordic Walking technique, general development exercises using NW poles and stretching at the end of the class.
It is possible to use SWFiS UPWr poles during the classes.

  • Organization of the class. Discussing health and safety rules.
  • Information on the effects of physical exercise on the functioning of various human systems and organs. Selection and discussion and presentation of exercises related to the form of the class. Performance of exercises according to a predetermined program.
