Changing rooms are available 15 minutes before classes.
Nordic Walking classes will be implemented for 10 weeks of 3 lessons each.


Requirements:

No health contraindications to participate in physical education classes.
Possession of appropriate clothing, footwear and nordic walking poles.


Description:

The class begins with a group warm-up that prepares you for walking. Breathing and mobilization exercises are recommended in the introductory part. The main part of the class is a march over a distance of approximately 5km. During the march over 90% of the whole body muscles are engaged. The last stage of the class are stretching, relaxation and breathing exercises.

  • Organization of the class. Discussing health and safety rules.
  • Learning the principles of warm-up and calming exercises. Learning the basic technique. Introduction and use of basic technique in walking.
  • Development of general fitness and strength of shoulder girdle muscles in walking.
  • Introduction to the principles and possibilities of using Nordic Walking for training at different levels of sporting ability.
