Description:

Exercising on a rowing ergometer involves as much as 95% of your muscles, which makes the machine ideal for beginners who want to improve their overall fitness. At the same time, training on a rower requires proper technique, the knowledge of which determines the effectiveness of the exercises. The exercises are aimed at a comprehensive workout that strengthens and shapes the entire body. Training is based on learning and perfecting the basic rowing technique and performing gradually more and more demanding training units. The student will learn various training methods and perform them based on the established training intensity.

  • Organization of the class. Discussing health and safety rules.
  • Learning the indoor rowing technique broken down into individual phases of movement: initial position-stretch phase-final position-final phase. Learning the most common errors in movement technique on a rowing ergometer. Learning how to operate a rowing ergometer.
  • Improving indoor rowing technique using different training methods and varying training intensities. Learning basic conditioning programs and fitness tests on a rowing ergometer. Monitoring progress.
  • Strategy of 1000m and 2000m rowing runs.
